The International Coaching Federation (ICF) defines coaching as partnering with clients in a thought-provoking and creative process that inspires them to maximize their personal and professional potential. Through the use of powerful questions, the process of coaching can open the door to untapped potential, imagination, and resourcefulness.

What Coaching Isn't . . .

Coaching is not Therapy, Consulting or Mentoring. A coach stands with the client, helps clarify the situation, and then together the coach and client transform challenges into victories with the client held accountable to reach his/her desired goals.

A great coach helps you grow by analyzing your current situation, identifying any limiting beliefs, and devising a plan to bridge the gap between where you are and where you want to be. You gain a new perspective on the challenges you face, and start to see any negative patterns that could be blocking your path to success.
