Who I Am . . .
I'm a new grandmother, mother, sister and daughter to an aging parent. I have a lifetime of both personal and professional experience filled with successes, failures, and challenges that both shaped and inspired me.
I became a Certified Executive and Professional Coach through study at The Doerr Institute for New Leaders at Rice University, and an Associate Certified Coach (ACC) through accreditation from The International Coaching Federation. I’m also certified in the EQ-i 2.0 and EQ-i 360 emotional intelligence assessments.
I've been a licensed Attorney for over 40 years and I have Fortune 100 Corporate experience, Big Law experience, and U.S. Government experience. As a result, I know the unique advantages and challenges that each field brings.
My Why . . .
My "why" is because I know I was born for this. I've been getting signals all my life and I finally stopped long enough to pay attention.
You know that person you go to for issues at work, questions about relationships, or just general life advice? Well, that's always been me! Friends, family, co-workers and even bosses have been opening up to me for years. I always knew there was something that drew people to me, and a skills assessment finally confirmed it. I have this gift of empathy, combined with a futuristic/optimistic view of life, that makes me a great listener and problem solver. And I get so much joy from helping people! With this insight, I enrolled in a coaching program that completely changed my life.
